Multinational professional services company Ernst & Young (EY) Luxembourg have announced the admission of seven of its professionals to partnership, as of 1 July 2015.

Three of these seven professionals have risen to the rank of Partner, one to the rank of Principal and three have risen to the rank of Directeur Associé.

The new partners are as follows:

- Nicolas Bannier, Assurance, Asset Management - Nicolas, 43, French, admitted as a Partner of EY Luxembourg joined EY in 2000. He graduated from the Institute of Scientific Economy and Management, Lille (France). Nicolas has 14 years of experience in the financial services industry in Luxembourg, mainly in the Asset Management industry, with a particular focus on regulated funds (UCITS, SIF's) and funds of hedge funds. Nicolas is a Certified Public Accountant (IRE) in Luxembourg.

- Alban Aubree, Assurance, Private Equity - Alban, 36, French, admitted as a Partner of EY Luxembourg, joined EY in 2002. He holds a Master Degree in Management with major in Auditing & Controlling from Skema Business School in Lille (France) and is a Certified Public Accountant in Luxembourg. Alban has spent more than 12 years in the audit practice where he gained a strong experience in coordinating large and multi-location audits. He focuses on the Private Equity sector, providing assurance services for Private Equity houses.

- Kai Braun, Advisory, Alternative Investments - Kai, 37, German, admitted as a Partner of EY Luxembourg, has more than 10 years of experience as a consultant at EY in the Private Equity, Real Estate and Hedge Fund sectors. He holds a double-MBA from the University of Hamburg, Germany, and the Institut Supérieur du Commerce, Paris (France). Kai gained significant hands-on experience in leading operations for service providers both in terms of administration and custody in Luxembourg. He is a member of the ALFI Risk Management Steering Committee.

The new principal is as follows:

- Pierre Mangers, Advisory, Public Sector - Pierre, 45, Luxembourgish, joined EY Luxembourg in 2010 as a Directeur Associé focusing on performance improvement solutions for the public sector and SME & family business. In 2012, he has been appointed to the role of Luxembourg Public Sector leader of the Luxembourg Firm. Prior to joining EY, Pierre dedicated 13 years to a professional career in strategic management consulting and in the steel industry. Pierre holds a master diploma in chemical engineering from the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT), in Karlsruhe (Germany) and completed an executive M.B.A. from Henley Management College in Oxforshire (UK). Pierre has been Secretary General of the "Association Luxembourgeoise des Ingénieurs" since 2008 and member of the "Fédération des Jeunes Dirigeants" of the ILEA committee, the Luxembourg industry association of automotive equipment suppliers.

The new directors are as follows:

- Christian Schlesser, Tax, International Tax Services - Christian, 36, Luxembourgish, joined EY in 2003. He holds a Master Degree in Economics and Management from the University of Nancy II and a Master II Degree in Wealth management from INSEEC business school in Paris (France). Christian is a registered as a member of the Ordre des Experts Comptables in Luxembourg.  He has 12 years of experience as an international tax advisor for multinational companies in both the commercial and industrial sector. During this period, Christian has mainly worked for EY in Luxembourg and in Chicago. He is specialized in the tax analysis of international corporate structures and reorganisations, cross border financing as well as the structuring of financial transactions.

- Pavel Nesvedov, Assurance, Real Estate - Pavel, 36, Russian, joined EY Luxembourg in 2007. He graduated a World Economy faculty at the State University of Management, Moscow (Russia) and is a Certified Public Accountant (IRE) in Luxembourg and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). With 14 years of experience, Pavel has in-depth knowledge in auditing private and public international groups. Pavel is closely involved in the initiatives of the different real estate associations (ALFI, INREV, EPRA) and regularly represents EY at the IRE real estate committee. Pavel focuses on the development of audit and non-audit services for real estate clients, particularly those from Eastern Europe and Russia.

- Olivier Lambert, Tax, Indirect Tax, Financial Services - Olivier, 39, Belgian, started his career with EY in 2002. He graduated from the University of Liège, Belgium, in Political Science and Public Administration and holds a degree in Luxembourg and International Tax Law. Olivier has gained an extensive experience in Luxembourg VAT advisory and compliance matters for Luxembourg and multinational organizations operating in the financial and real estate sector. He is actively involved in internal working groups, focusing mainly on training improvements and maintaining high educational standards.
