A new hotel, the Hostellerie du Grünewald, opens its doors in Luxembourg’s Dommeldange neighbourhood on 1 April, bringing a new design to a century old building.

‘’We are thrilled that preparations are progressing nicely and that we can now finally announce the opening of the Hostellerie du Grünewald. This century-old hotel and restaurant has been completely modernised to provide a delightful new place in which to touch base in Luxembourg’’, said managing partners Aline Bourscheid and Clovis Degrave.

The restaurant, catering to external and hotel guests alike, will open its doors on 19 April.

‘’Our concept is rooted in a local tradition of great hospitality that we extend by a design approach combining aesthetics with the right amount of individuality and revitalizing ambiance’’, said Bourscheid.

The new Hotel said that it offers a range of rooms from 15 to 50 square metres, suitable for daily or long term rental, all equipped with IPTV and wireless high speed internet. Guests can take breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant or use the common lounge and penthouse kitchen to meet, network or prepare their own meals. Rooms with a private kitchen are available as well.

The restaurant offers a laid-back but high-standard cuisine in three different indoor spaces. ‘’We hope to provide a real dining experience in an environment featuring contemporary design and an innovative mix of colours, patterns and textures’’, said Degrave, who is also chef.

Outside, the hotel’s terraces, pavilions and barbecue facilities are optimised for private events, and look out on to a 21 acre property.

“There are a variety of options available for private events. You can either take over the whole restaurant, a section of it or use a private dining room, optionally in combination with our outdoor facilities’’ says Bourscheid, ”private or corporate, small or large, we will welcome pleasure-minded people from all walks of life, so please, come feel at home with us!”
