Luxembourg will be showcasing its renewable energy and environmental technology credentials at EXPO 2017 in Astana, Kazakhstan, from 10 June to 10 September this year. 

Part of the Grand Duchy’s economic promotion drive, the government will address the Expo theme, “Energy for the Future: Action for Global Sustainability,” and sub-themes including reduction of CO2 emissions, energy efficiency and energy for all.

The Luxembourg stand of about 200 square-metres, will be put together in collaboration with the private sector, and the Governing Council will shortly appoint a Commissioner-General and a Deputy Commissioner-General of the Luxembourg pavilion.
