The Luxembourg Ministry of Finance has announced the appointment of two new directors of the Administration for Direct Contributions (ACD) and Inspection générale des finances (IGF).

ACD and IGF have started the new year with the addition of two new directors, Pascale Toussing and Etienne Reuter.

During his speech at the ACD meeting, the Minister of Finance, Pierre Gramegna, presented the numerous challenged which await Pascale Toussing who, as of 2 January 2017, has taken on the role of ACD’s director. The minister went on to discuss the new director’s career in the private sector, and then at the heart of the ACD and the Ministry of Finance, during which she developed important skills and knowledge in the sector which will serve her in her new role.

Pierre Gramegna also congratulated the both the former and new director for the important role both played in the development of the fiscal reform implemented in 2017.

Likewise, at the IGF, Pierre Gramegna thanked the departing director Jeannoy Waringo for his contribution during his career. As for the new director, the Minister wished Etienne Reuter much success in his new role as head of an administration which “does not have deciding powers, but those of conviction”. He went on to discuss Etienne Reuter’s career which has given him a profound knowledge of public finance and Luxembourg’s economy.
