Continuing on the "Meet the Experts" lecture series started in 2012, BGL BNP Paribas Banque Privée will be holding an event on Tuesday 14 June 2016 dedicated to socially responsible investing (SRI).

The "Meet the Experts" lecture series brings together clients with specialists from the BNP Paribas Group to enable the former to receive answers to their questions on a variety of wealth management topics.

Previous lectures have focused on topics such as art, real estate, soveriegn debt, interest rates, philanthropy and family offices, whilst the latest event will tackle SRI, provided by Head of SRI and Impact Investing at BNP Paribas Wealth Management, Eléonore Bedel. Her talk will outline how SRI empowers reponsible investors through a blend of civic engagament and financial performance.

"Investors have the power to influence key issues such as poverty, inequality, exclusion, pollution, climate change and natural resource depletion," Ms. Bedel explained ahead of the talk. "Investing carries responsibility, but it also offers a great way to address these major challenges by shaping our future society. SRI allows you to grow your assets while helping to build a more responsible, more sustainable and fairer world."

According to the BNP Paribas Group, the lecture forms part of the company's aim to support solidarity, health and culture programmes through its corporate foundation - efforts which has seen it ranked among the banking industry's top performers by sustainability rating agencies.

Participation in the event can only be done through prior registration by contacting Claudine Pletschette at +352 42 42 25 43 or claudine.pletschette@bgl.lu. Spaces are limited.
