The Association of North American Banks in Luxembourg (ANABL) held its annual National Diversity Day event today at Cinema Utopolis as part of its United in Diversity (UiD) initiative, where they were joined by over 125 people from across the industry.

Led by various professional women’s networks, diversity advocators and human resource leads across the seven North American banks in Luxembourg, the event tackled a topical question: what can businesses and employees do to understand the intergenerational opportunities and challenges impacting today’s workforce?

A panel group of baby boomers, generation X, generation Y and millennials from ANABL member firms held a dynamic discussion on intergenerational workplace experiences across the North American banks in Luxembourg.

The group was led by Claire Harvey, CEO of Diversity Role Models, a UK charity aimed at teaching children empathy and how to embrace difference. Dr. Louis Chauvel, Professor of Sociology, University of Luxembourg, introduced the various themes covered by each generation represented on the panel.
