SANNE has announced that it has enhanced its client services in Luxembourg after being awarded a licence to provide professional depositary services in the country.

Alongside existing administrative and corporate services, clients will benefit from SANNE’S Luxembourg office being authorised as a depositary for assets other than financial instruments held in custody after the company received a Luxembourg professional depositary licence. This licence enables financial service providers for example, to offer an enhanced suite of services to the alternative funds sector - including family offices - in line with the European Union’s Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD).

Peter Dickinson, SANNE Director based in Luxembourg, said: "This licence underlines SANNE’s reputation as a trusted global leader in fund and corporate administration services. It also underlines our commitment to the continuing enhancement of services that we provide from Luxembourg to the benefit of our clients."

SANNE opened its Luxembourg office in 2008 and it provides fund and corporate administration services to global private equity, debt and real estate investment managers and institutional clients.

In respect of professional depositary, areas of expertise include safekeeping and verification of documentation and assets, transaction and cash monitoring and maintenance of comprehensive asset registers. SANNE’s team in Luxembourg work closely with colleagues in the company’s global network of offices to deliver tailored administration solutions across a multi-jurisdictional service platform.
