Gatsby & White S.A., an independent intermediary specialised in Private Placement Life Insurances, has reached an agreement with Me Defreyne, the bankruptcy administrator of the failed bank-insurer Optima Bank, to take over the entire portfolio of investment insurances and capitalisation contracts of Cardif Lux Vie and Nord Europe Life Luxemburg (NELL).
Nothing changes for the more than 300 policyholders in their relationship with Cardif and NELL; all existing engagements remain the same. Optima Bank was the former broker; Gatsby & White is the new broker.
Gatsby & White S.A. is a registered insurance broker in Luxembourg, established in 2013 and has for €2.3 billion insurance contracts under administration of which € 1.5 billion from Belgian clients. Their Policy Health Check has made over 700 existing contracts back compliant and effective; in line with the current changes in the law, tax policy or interpretation by the tax authorities.
