Founded at the beginning of 2016, the “Federation Recruitment, Search and Selection” (FR2S) already brings together 16 members who have just signed their first code of ethics of the profession.

In order to guarantee a high level of service quality to the employers of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg as well as to the candidates who are in touch with its members, the Board of Directors of the FR2S drafted this code in close relationship with all the companies which have already joined the federation.

Unlike the majority of European countries, Luxembourg has up until now not had any representative federation that ensures the promotion and the guarantee of an ethical code in the profession of recruitment consultancy. Under the aegis of FEDIL, it is FR2S’s mission to define quality standards and give credibility to its members who are signatories of this charter and therefore committed to respecting it.

This code is the first cornerstone of a series of themes the executive board of the federation is working on in order to amplify the exchange of views between recruitment professionals established in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, Human Resources Managers and candidates and to define a common framework that will ensure quality and professionalism.

Amongst other things, the signatories agree not to “headhunt” candidates from their clients’ workforce, and promise total transparency in the selection method applied during the recruitment process. Candidates must be protected from breaches of confidentiality in the information they supply as well as in the presentation of their profile on the market.
