Enterprise Management Software specialist SMT and European agency for the Management of Sensitive Information, EBRC, have collaborated on the organisation of a free IT workshop on Splunk, taking place on Wednesday 28 October 2015.

Splunk is the leading platform for Operational Intelligence, providing machine data and insights to help a company become more productive, profitable, competitive and secure. The workshop will help interested companies analyse their data or their security logs, as well as allow Splunk users to deepen their Splunk knowledge or gain the basics.

SMT was awarded Splunk Partner of the Year for the EMEA North region, but also overall Splunk EMEA Partner of the Year 2015. EBRC will provide its expertise as a Professional in the Financial Sector (PFS) and its advisory team with a strong background in IT Security Log Management.

EBRC will offer information on Design (architecture), Deploy (deployment, dashboards definition and reports), Run (continuous improvement of dashboards and reports, operating assistance, process and procedures), whilst SMT will provide the Splunk licence and support in its capacity as a Splunk partner for 7 years.

The event will be presented by Bernard Van Den Heuvel at the EBRC offices at 5, Rue Eugène Ruppert in Luxembourg and will be followed by a walking lunch. Entrance is free of charge but advanced registration is mandatory. To register, contact laurence.barillet@ebrc.com stating your name, company and professional e-mail address.
