Luxaviation Helicopters, which is part of the Luxaviation group, is set to become Europe’s first global VIP helicopter management company with global reach.

With activities across the globe in Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Caribbean, Europe, the Americas and the Middle East, Luxaviation Helicopters will specialise in managing VIP helicopters for private clients and businesses.

Starting in spring 2017, Luxaviation Helicopters will become one of the first VIP helicopter operators in Europe to have been approved by the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency), allowing it to operate Charter flights for offshore yachts and cruise ships. The company will be managed in accordance with the highest safety, security and quality standards in the industry

Charlotte Pedersen, former COO of Luxaviation Group, will lead Luxaviation Helicopters as CEO. Her career in aviation spans across almost 30 years, 17 of which she spent as the pilot of a military helicopter as a Danish Royal Air Force officer.

The new CEO has described this new step as "a natural complement to the services already provided by the Luxaviation Group”. She added that: “The Luxaviation Group has the overall experience and capabilities to meet the needs of our VIP customers who own helicopters and want to operate them all over the world”.

Luxaviation Helicopters manages all helicopter activities within the Luxaviation group. The business will continue to expand globally through organic growth, corporate acquisitions and joint venture agreements with existing helicopter companies whose safety and quality standards meet the group's requirements.
