Luxembourg statistics portal STATEC will be conducting a survey on holidays, business trips and excursions among the resident population of Luxembourg over the course of the next five weeks.
The survey, which forms part of the implementation of a European regulation concerning European statistics on tourism, will be exclusively focused on previous travel habits, rather than questions related to the participant's current or future holiday, business trip or excursion.
Residents may therefore be contacted by telephone over the course of the five weeks to come, between 17:00 and 20:30 Monday-Friday and from 11:00 to 16:00 on Saturdays. Investigators of T.I.P. Biehl and Partner in Trier will ask questions abouts trips made primarily in the months of April, May and June 2016.
Individual survey responses will not be disclosed or used to any purpose other than in the development of statistics and will be covered by statistical confidentiality in accordance with Article 16 of the Law of 10 July 2011.
