Samsung Business has announced that it has designed and launched a new way to go shopping in the city by deploying interactivity to shop windows using six AIRxTOUCH™ 3 sensors.

The announcement was made at this week's ISE2016 (Integrated Systems Europe 2016) audiovisual fair being held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

The solution allows shoppers to shop (browse, purchase, etc.) from outside a shop 24 hours a day, whether open or closed for business, using touch-screen technology. It works with single, double and triple glazed windows and is designed to support Windows 10 applications.

The AIRxTOUCH™ technology was developed by iNUI Studio in Foetz, Luxembourg, and the collaboration with Samsung was annoucned on Tuesday, the first day of the fair, at the Korean technology giant's stand.

Last year, Olivier Raulot, founder of iNUI Studio, signed an agreement with Samsung to collaborate and jointly develop such technology and its applications. iNUI Studio is also involved in developing applications based on gesture recognition technology.
