IMMOBEL Luxembourg and Allen & Overy have announced that the headquarters of their new INFINITY WORKING building will be situated in Kirchberg.

The law firm signed an agreement for the location of the new building at the heart of IMMOBEL Luxembourg and Allen & Overy’s iconic INFINITY project, designed by American architectural firm Arquitectonica.

By 2020, INFINITY WORKING will bring together over 150 collaborators from the law firm founded in 1990 which, through its fusion with Allen & Overy LLP in 2000, joined one of the most prestigious law firms in the world.

Globally, Allen & Overy LLP employs around 5,200 people, 500 of whom are associate lawyers, and has 45 offices in the world. In the Grand Duchy, the company is considered number one on the market with almost 150 employees, of which 90 are lawyers.

The law firm’s Managing Partner, Henri Wagner, commented that “Allen & Overy’s decision to move this exceptional building to the European Quarter of Kirchberg gives us the opportunity to contribute to the creation and planning of one of the most modern buildings in Luxembourg.”

In 2015, the INFINITY project won a competition run by the Fund of Urbanisation and Planning for the Kirchberg Plateau (FUAK) for the creation of a shopping centre, offices and housing. INFINITY WORKING is accompanied by 150 apartments in INFINITY LIVING along with the INFINITY SHOPPING shopping centre.
