On Thursday evening, ALD Automotive celebrated 30 years in Luxembourg with a reception at the Philharmonie in Kirchberg.

The venue had been decked out in a motoring theme, with cars and displays made of balloons, a large Scalectrix-type circuit with 6 lanes, seating with white lane markings and much more, with a jazz band entertaining the attendees.

Roger Dominique, Country General Manager at ALD Automotive, who has been at the company for 25 years himself, addressed the large attendance and covered the growth of the company from its origins to where it is today, and thanked everyone involved who contributed to its growth.

Over the past 30 years, ALD Automotive has serviced more than 1,900 clients who have entrusted the management of their fleets with their 70-strong team who registered over 3,600 vehicles in 2014, bringing the total to no less than 36,285 since it was founded in 1985.

ALD Automotive has delivered average annual growth of 14.3% in the ten years from 2004 to 2013, compared with growth of 7.1% for the rest of the market, ALD included, over the same period. Come 2014, the company outperformed its market, with growth reaching 5.6%.
