Luxair Luxembourg Airlines has announced that flight LG 9562 aborted its takeoff at Sarrebrucken airport today at around 10:00.
None of the 16 passengers and 4 crew personnel on board were injured. The aircraft, which was bound for Luxembourg, ended up on its belly on the runway. The details of this accident are being investigated. A hotline for families and friends of the passengers has been set up and can be reached at tel: 2456-2456.
Except for LG 4606/4607 flight to London City which is cancelled, all other Luxair operations continue normally.
