The internationally operating logistics services provider Logwin has moved premises and opened their new logistics facility in Perth; this marks a further expansion of Logwin in Australia enhancing their service capabilities to their customers by providing complete management of national distribution and logistics services in Australia.

The facility is located in Kewdale. This is due to its ideal geographic location close to the airport and just 10 km to the Perth CBD as well as providing fast access to the Western Australia’s regional and far northern hubs.

Logwin has been continuously expanding its presence in economically important markets. The company’s customers benefit from the dense, worldwide logistics network that enables fast transportation times and high service quality. The new logistics facility in Perth provides a keystone in Logwin’s regional strategy to deliver a complete range of skills and services to our customers. These include vertical E commerce fulfilment solutions, ship parts logistic, remote mine supply chain services as well as end-to-end freight and logistics solutions to customers in the Fashion + Lifestyle, Industrial, Consumer goods, Retail, and light commercial goods markets.

The 1,200 m2 facility provides storage for pallets in high bay racking locations, ample bulk goods area and is fully bonded. Like all Logwin warehouses, the facility is controlled by the company’s global state of the art Warehouse Management System (WMS). The operation is fully paperless by deploying handheld devices exchanging data with the WMS in real-time. Therefore, Logwin’s customers can stay in control of their inventory and warehouse processes by verifying real time online inventory control via the Logwin WMS.

The opening of the Perth distribution centre provides a milestone in enhancing the national network of strategically located logistics facilities. It will allow Logwin to provide supply chain solutions to the Australian and global customer base fully within the companies own network of office and warehouse facilities, thereby improving speed and accuracy of the company’s service delivery.
