Voices International has announced details of its new Misatango which will see two performances in Luxembourg in March.
Directed by Thomas Raoult, Misatango by Martin Palmeri features Cecilia Mazzufero (mezzo-soprano) and William Sabatier (bandoneon). Misatango is a contemporary composition (sung in Latin) that combines Argentinian rhythms (tango) with the text and structure of a classical mass. The choir will be accompanied by a full orchestra.
