For this month’s cultural afterwork gathering, Cercle Cité Luxembourg (CeCiL) is offering a look into the work of Luxembourg artist photographer Neckel Scholtus, with an interactive display based on her work and favourite subject: memory, tomorrow 27 May from 18:15 at the Cercle Cité’s Ratskeller.

The evening’s theme ‘Traces in Movements’, is being held in the frame of the European Month of Photography and the exhibition ‘Memory Lab III – Traces’. Scholtus’ images are made with giant camera obscura, using vintage images that she transposes to the present.

Throughout the evening, the installation will encourage an interactive approach of active participation – expressing their impressions and emotions when faced with the photographs that surround them.

Every last Wednesday of the month, CeCiL organises a cultural afterwork gathering, around a few shared drinks and the immersion into original creations, as well as visual and sound acts by Luxembourg artists.
