Rosport today announced the winners of its 'Source of Inspiration' art contest which took place during the months of May and June of this year.

Céline Mazzilli was the artist found to have received the most public votes among the 20 artists selected for the 'Source of Inspiration' art gallery. Mazzilli's work 'Hybrid', combining a power symbol of a lion and the mythical figure of Medusa won her a 21.5 inch iMac and tablet and the opportunity to have her work displayed in limited edition on a Rosport product. This collaboration between a Luxembourg artist and Sources Rosport, resulting in a special edition collectible range, reportedly represents a first for the company.

In conjunction with 'Sources of Inspiration', Rosport also ran a public competition for voting participants with the chance to win an exclusive weekend in Milan involving tickets to Expo2015. Mr. Jean-Pierre Tibesart was selected as the competition winner from more than 10,000 votes.

The 'Sources of Inspiration' contest called on Luxembourg's artists last April to convey their vision or impression of Luxembourg through the artistic medium. A jury panel comprised of Luxembourgish artists David Soner and Samuël Levy; Mudam's Nadine Erpelding; and Tanja Kinnen of Sources Rosport then selected twenty artists whose pieces best communicated the proposed theme and criteria.

These works of art were then displayed for a period of two weeks in bus shelters around Luxembourg's city centre, forming the largest outdoor art gallery in the country. The public were then invited, under the guidance of an interactive map showing the various locations used, to visit each piece and then vote for their favourite artist on Rosport's website.
