Luxembourg resident Jeanette Bremin will be having her latest art exhibition “the little book of pain” at the TUFA Tuchfabrik in Trier (; Wechelstr. 4; 1st floor) from 4 - 26 June 2016, with the vernissage on Friday 3 June 2016 from 19:30.

The artist stated "We have all at some time in our life experienced physical and emotional pain. Perhaps in our childhood, in a war, or deep in our souls. There can be pain in many ways. A lot of us don’t want to talk about our pains. One don’t want to disturb, intrude or make people uncomfortable by telling. On rare occasions we might talk about it. But what if our pains go on and on… We tend to hide it, ignore or pretend that all is well. We are all expected to function normally, to fit in to the society and be competent and strong. I would like to show how I interpreter pain. My wish is that people can relate to my paintings and perhaps receive some comfort in knowing they are not alone. It’s important to talk about pain, but I think it’s also important to be able to visualize pain like I have done with my exhibition “the little book of pain”.

She added "With a painting one doesn’t need words, With a painting you can reach the whole world".

The exhibition entited "The little book of pain" comprises 14 paintings and installations.
