The Fonds culturel national (FOCUNA) has launched a call for applications from Luxembourgish digital artists for a cultural and research-based residence in the Bamhaus.

The fund, in collaboration with the non-profit association Bamhaus, is launching a call for applications for a digital arts artist for a research and creation residence. The artist, who should be a Luxembourg national or resident, will benefit from a housing workshop on the site of the former ARBED in Dommeldange.

The aim of this residence is to promote Luxembourg artists on a national scale and to allow the exchange of ideas and the fluidity of culture in Luxembourg, as well as to foster the development of lasting links between digital artists and to contribute to development of creative artistic approaches.

The selected artist will be supported in the creation, dissemination and promotion of their approach through events organised both on the Dommeldange site and beyond, through networking with the local artistic scene. The artist’s residence therefore serves not only to advance their artistic creation, but also to develop their professional career.

The deadline for registration is midnight on Wednesday 31 May 2017.
