Utopia SA has announced the avant-premiere of the 3D Luxembourgish film adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's 'Le Petit Prince' will be held at Utopolis Kirchberg at 19:30 on Tuesday 14 July 2015.

The novel was translated into 243 languages and dialects and still retains first place in terms of sales at its French publisher, Gallimard. Since it was published in 1943, it has sold 145 million copies worldwide.

In the film version, two very different animation techniques are used in conjunction with each other. For the most part, computer graphics have been used, whilst a small part of the story comes in stop-motion. It is due to this dual technique that American director Mark Osborne has managed on the one hand to respect the classic book and simultaneously present a philosophical reading of this poetic tale.

Tickets for the premiere can be purchased by E-ticket or directly at the cinema kiosk, at the usual rates.
