The 3rd annual Nordic Film Festival in Luxembourg concluded on Tuesday evening after 5 films from 5 countries in 5 days at 2 venues.

The number of attendees per screening showed a marked increase on last year, with the screening of the Swedish film, a Man Called Ove, a sell-out (for those unlucky not to gain entry, it will be screened shortly at ciné Utopia on general release).

The event had the support of Gold Sponsor Sparinvest, in addition to Luxair, Danish Deli and Bernard Massard.

On Tuesday evening, festival organiser annoucned the winners:

- Audience Award: The Fencer (a Finnish-Estonian-Russian co-production)

- Audience Prize: Katrin Asgrimsdottir (who wins 2 return tickets from Luxembourg to either Stockholm or Copenhagen)

The next film festival organised by G-Media, publisher of The Luxembourg Chronicle, will be the British & Irish Film Season from 21 September to 1 October 2016.
