Film Fund Luxembourg and Digital Lëtzebuerg, partners of the "Pavillon Réalité Virtuelle", said they are delighted by the success of the immersive initiative launched at the Luxembourg City Film Festival 2017.

At the Casino Luxembourg since 1 March, the festival has offered a contemporary art forum dedicated entirely to virtual reality has seen over 1,000 visitors, including several school classes, NGOs, journalists and political representatives, curious to discover the twelve films and 360 degree experiences selected by the Festival and the Luxembourg audiovisual production company a_Bahn.

The great success of the Pavilion reflects the interest of the general public in new audiovisual technologies and in particular in innovative content and expressions that have enabled us to discover a universe of creativity and emotions that traditional cinema can not generate under this form.

The decision of the organisers to use the documentary format and to adopt a strong editorial line with appropriate scenography was particularly appreciated by both the public and the partners.
