The Selection Committee of Film Fund Luxembourg met on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week to take decisions on applications for funding.
The Selection Committee consists of Jean-Louis Scheffen (Chairman), Guy Daleiden, Boyd van Hoeij, Karin Schockweiler, Rachel Schmid and Sébastien Tasch (committee secretary).
The selection committee analysed 22 projects for a total amount of aid requested of €12,612,523; financial assistance was agreed for a total amount of €8,097,084 to the 14 following new audiovisual projects:
Selective financial assistance to the writing and/or development for a total amount of €240,000:
• L'Ascension, €30,000; feature-length fiction film, writer: Frank Feitler. Director: Pol Cruchten. Production - Red Lion.
• Le Méridien de l'Aube, €30,000; feature-length fiction film, writer: Jonathan Becker. Writer-Director: Julien Becker. Production - Skilllab.
• Kid Paddle, €60,000; feature-length fiction film, authors: Jean-Luc Cano, David Soussan and Kev Adams. Production - Bidibul Productions.
• Houdini, €30,000; animated series, Creators: Francis Launay, François Turquety, Sydelia Guirao and Maxime Lebras. Writer-Director: Cédrix Babouche. Production - Doghouse Films.
• Lorelei, € 30,000; fiction series, Creators: Tullio Forgiarini, Jean-Louis Schlesser, Cyril Paris and Stephan Kalb. Production - Iris Productions
• Kensuke's Kingdom, €30,000; animated feature-length, Creator: Frank Cottrell Boyce. Writer-directors: Neil Boyle and Kirk Hendry. Production - Melusine Productions
