The 2017 Berlin Film Festival, to be held between 9 and 19 February, is set to screen a total of three films co-produced in Luxembourg with the support of Film Fund Luxembourg.

- Barrage, a drama by Laura Schroeder (Red Lion) - world premiere in the Forum section.

- Es war einmal in Deutschland, a drama by Sam Garbarski (Samsa Film) - Berlinale Special Gala section.

- Richard the Stork, a 3D animated film by Toby Genkel and Reza Memari (Melusine Productions) - in the Generation Kplus section.

In addition, the "Dead Noon" film project currently in development, by Luxembourg director Jeff Desom (Samsa Film) is one of 36 projects from 29 countries selected for the 14th edition of the Berlinale co-production market and will be presented to a panel of co-producers, experts, distributors and international financial partners.

At the Berlinale, two Luxembourg companies have been selected from 10 startups at the European film market, which has hosted the EFM Startups since 2015 to present the new tools and strategies they are developing to film and television and audio-visual professionals. The company realab with its tool "Virtelio" (a virtual reality editing software) and the company Aiva Technologies with its product Aiva (an artificial intelligence that composes classical music) will feature here.
