The many characters of comedian Katia Kvinge will make their Luxembourg debut at Konrad Comedy Club on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 May 2016, with performances starting at 20:30.

Nominated for a Scottish BAFTA New Talent Award, Katia Kvinge is a one of the most promising comedians on the circuit. Half Norwegian, half American, Katia grew up in the UK and trained with Philippe Gaulier (mentor to Sacha Baron Cohen). She has performed at numerous clubs and festivals in the UK and US, including the Soho Theatre, Comedy Café, Sheffield Student Comedy Festival and Atsitsa Comedy in Greece. She has also been seen on BBC3, BBC Scotland, MTV and Channel 4.

Last year Vanity Fair selected Katia amongst their "7 Comedians from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival You Need to Know About Now". The previous year, her 140 Karacters show was met with critical acclaim. One reviewer praised the fast manic energy of the show and enjoyed the way Katia clearly cared about her characters.

Hailed as one of the “loveliest, funniest and energetic character comics going”, Katia describes her perfect show as feeling “like you and the audience are all on a high and you are all riding this wave of laughter and fun and maybe you’ve all learnt a thing or two along the way.” She has also said that the one talent she would like to have is to speak all languages - so Luxembourg seems like the perfect place to perform her latest show.
