On Friday 11 December 2015, the NRW Juniorballett ballet group will be performing at the Centre des Arts Pluriels Ettelbruck (CAPE).
Founded in autumn of 2014 by director of Ballet Dortmund, Xin Peng Wang, the NRW Juniorballett consists of twelve dancers from various backgrounds, all graduates of dance academies. As well as providing continuing education through seminars and experiences on the Ballet Dortmund stage, the NRW is involved in the development of artistic productions.
International choreographers, such as Demis Volpi and Benjamin Millepied, help the company develop a diverse programme highlighting the innovative character of the dance which easily adapts to unusual places.
This performance will feature the music of Tchaikovsky, Haydn, Bach...and Joe Cocker and Elvis Presley.
