Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) and the Cercle Cité, in collaboration with the Danzsportclub Rout-Wäiss-Blo Lëtzebuerg and Reporters Without Borders "RWB" a.s.b.l,  have an aspiration to build bridges between generations and revive the city centre, and to offer the opportunity to rediscover the beautiful restored Cercle Cité which was a central meeting place of Luxembourg, and which was home to prestigious tea dances in the 50s and 60s.

Two Teas Dances are to be held at the Cercle Cité on Place d'Armes in Luxembourg city centre with the orchestra RWB Combo, conducted by Claude Sinner, on 27 November 2016 in the ballroom of Cercle Cité, one of the finest historic buildings in the capital. It will resonate on the ballroom dance tunes throughout the afternoon. The programme includes the samba, the English and Viennese waltz, cha-cha-cha, tango, rumba, paso doble, the slow foxtrot and quickstep, all on an enlarged dance floor. All generations may gather to dance in a stylish and friendly atmosphere.
