The Mierscher Kulturhaus will be hosting the event ‘Instant Rencontre: blanContact’ to allow the public to see the dance project blanContact, on Sunday 29 January 2017 at 17:00.

Under the artistic direction of choreographers Annick Pütz and Thierry Raymond, dancers both with and without a physical disability present improvised dance and choreography as created in that exact moment, using skills acquired in blanContact workshops. At this upcoming event, the public can discover this artistic philosophy.

The objective of blanContact, an eight-year-old dance project bringing together disabled and non-disabled dancers through choreographic creation, is to reconcile art and social engagement and to raise awareness in society about physical disability, so as to encourage long-term inclusion.

Following the success of the last event with this project, the Mierscher Kulturhaus has invited the Ensemble BewegGrund Trier of the association DanceAbility e.V de Trèves to share new elements of the project with the public. Their artistic method focuses on the concept of dance for everyone, regardless of the physical or emotional state of their dancers.

Entry to the event is free but prior reservation is recommended via email : pkind@kulturhaus.lu or tel.: 26 32 43 1.
