On 3 April 2017, the TROIS C-L will be teaming up with choreographers, dancers and videographers to present their various research projects; the evening will start at 19:00 at Banannefabrik.

The upcoming evening dedicated to the research of choreographers will open with a video presentation of Yuko Kominami, a Japanese-Luxembourgish Butoh dancer-choreographer, portraying her future creation entitled “Dreaming Scarlet Medusa”. This is the result of the artist’s research on the links between traditional and contemporary dance.

The event will also feature another video “NOX: Evidence of Absence” by local choreographer Kendra J. Horsburgh, which researches how shadows are represented on stage and how to move with them while performing.

To close the evening, Luxembourgish choreographer Anne-Mareike Hess will continue with her piece “How do emotions form body?” which questions the way in which humans feel and express their emotions in a world where they are increasingly reduced to utilitarian functions. The artist’s research focuses on analysing the impact of emotions on the body.

With this artistic programme, dancer and choreographer Simone Mousset will present an exhibition on her new creation “BAL”, the premiere of which will take place on 25 April 2017 at the Mierscher Kulturhaus.

No reservation is required to attend this event.
