On Thursday 8 and Friday 9 October 2015, the Institut Pierre Werner and Rotondes will be offering the Luxembourg public a special reflective interaction between cultural creation and digital technologies.

The so-called Multiplica festival will provide an insight into the amazing works and new aesthetic experiences capable of eliciting strong emotions that digital arts provides.

This first edition of the festival will feature artists Robert Henke of Germany; Romain Tardy of France; Nicolas Deveaux of France; Mathieu Labaye of Belgium; and Steve Gerges of Luxembourg. These five creative minds find themselves at the crossroads of multiple disciplines, embracing the multi-dimensional landscapes of animation, electronic music and video mapping.

The programme will also include a panel discussion hosted by digital expert Jean-Paul Fourmentraux of the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (EHESS) in France. Additional features to help give a global vision of arts and digital potential will be an immersive installation, a new LAN 2.0 installation loop from Steve Gerges and an exhibition.
