Rockhal and Rocklab have announced that the 2016 Sonic Visions event is to be held at Rockhal in Esch-Belval from 10 - 12 November 2016; this is a unique three-day event packed with music, ideas and inspiration for projects.

Workshops, panels, keynotes, meetings and showcases – all about music, the music industry and the topics that really matter: Music Technology & Creativity, Author’s rights, Music & Start-Ups, Playing Gigs in the Greater Region, Digital Music Journalism, Careers in Music… - If you are a musician, music pro or if you just want to get a first glimpse on how the music business functions and what opportunities it might offer for you, join Rockhal at this year's conference!

The first day of the conference will be dedicated to the Greater Region, featuring the Multipistes press conference to present the network's new artist support programme, a panel taking a closer look at various regional artist support programmes and their implications in today's industry as well as a speed meeting, which will give bands and artists the possibility to meet bookers from a selection of venues, festivals or agencies of the Greater Region.

Two of the keynote speakers have been announced, as follows:

- GUY SIGSWORTH (PRODUCER: MADONNA, SEAL, ROBYN, KATE HAVNEVIK). Without a doubt, Guy Sigsworth, can be considered as one of the most accomplished and well-respected creatives in the UK music industry today. Over the last 20 years, Guy has worked with artists such as Bjork, Britney Spears, Madonna, Seal, Imogen Heap, David Sylvian, Alanis Morissette and Alison Moyet amongst many others. His keynote at the Sonic Visions Music Conference will be about his approach to songwriting and music production and expose his view about the impact of technology on music creation, production and consumption. Furthermore he will talk about his collaborations with artists such as Imogen Heap, Robyn, Seal and Madonna. Artists, musicians & producers, be sure not to miss this unique occasion to get inspired!

- CLAIRE MAS: FUTURE TRENDS & TOOLS FOR MUSIC MARKETING. Driven by digital innovation, the music marketing landscape is changing at a breath-taking speed – so much so, in fact, that it can be hard to keep on top of all the latest tools! During her keynote Claire Mas will give a detailed guide to the latest trends and tools in digital marketing, illustrated by real-life case studies that will translate into your work as an artist, band or music professional.
