The author Robert Schofield will be reading from his book The Hoogen-Stoogen Tulip on Saturday 26 November 2016 at Chapter 1 The Book Loft (40, rue des Bruyères, L-1274, Howald).

This Saturday, Robert Schofield will read from his book, illustrated by Carlo Schmitz from editions Guy Binsfeld, to children aged between three and five from 10:00 to 10:30 and between six and nine from 11:00 to 11:30. There will also be puppetry, windmill machines and a special tulip game for the younger group, as well as a magical tulip bulb for all children.

The book deals with a rich and greedy banker, Fattman van Biggestbanken, the richest merchant in Amsterdam as well as his gardener Joost Deeg, the tulip farmer Jan Hoogen-Stoogen, and Pitch yhe black cat.

The activity fee is €5 to be paid on the day.
