As part of the 'Revelations' exhibition, set designer Antonin Pons Braley will be at the Musée National d'Histoire et d'Art (MNHA) for a conference on gravure printing on Thursday 8 October 2015.

As 2015 has been declared the International Year of Light by UNESCO, the artist-designer will be examining 'The Place, the Evolution and the Role of Gravure Printing in the History of Arts from the 19th Century to the Present'. In so doing, he will compile a gallery of the evolution of this technology, from traditional printmaking until its current form.

Winner of the Banques Populaires Jury Artisanat d'Art for his héliovolumes work, Antonin Pons Braley lives and works in Berlin where he directs an innovative laboratory combining art and anthropology.

The conference will begin at 18:30 at MNHA. Entrance is free and the talk session will be conducted in French.
