Violeta Hedin and her son Yannick-Paul were yesterday awarded a prize for their contribution to the 'My Urban Piano' contest, held from 6 to 21 June 2015 by the Ville de Luxembourg and the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO).

During this time, pianos were installed around various toursit areas, popular regions and parks and streets of the capital, with the public invited to record themselves playing on the instruments and submit it to the competition.

It was ultimately Violeta Hedin and son Yannick-Paul who were awarded the prize of an iPad by Luxembourg City Mayor Lydie Polfer, for their video 'Wo steht das Klavier?' in which dance and music were impressively performed around several pianos in the city centre.

Due to the success of the piano project, the Ville de Luxembourg has decided it will be brought back between 3 and 19 June 2016, when more musical aficionados will be invited to try their hand at a piano performance around Luxembourg City.
