On Friday 4 March 2016, Years & Years will be arriving in Luxembourg with multiple international accolades under their belts and undoubtedly a spring in their step.

The London-based electronica trio, now formed of frontman and keyboard player, Olly Alexander, bass guitarist Mikey Goldsworthy, and keyboardist Emre Türkmen, has arisen from humble beginnings, with Alexander making his entrance into the band after Goldsworthy overheard him singing in the shower at a friend's apartment and the band's name explained with a shrug as the result of just spitballing ideas.

However, this down-to-earth demeanour belies the chart-topping power of single 'King' and a plethora of award nominations and wins, with 2015 representing the most significant year thus far for the latter category. Last year saw the band collect Attitude's Album of the Year Award, MTV's Best new Artist Video, the O2's Artists's Recognition Award, the BBC's British Artist of the Year and XITE's Most Played Music Video - to name a few.

Meanwhile, debut album 'Communion' appears to have made itself at home in the UK Top 20, representing the fastest selling debut in 2015 from a UK signed band.

Years & Years will be making their Luxembourg debut at Den Atelier. The show will begin at 20:00. Tickets cost €29 and can be purchased here.
