On Friday 4 March 2016, the Grund Club Songwriters' Show will be returning to the Brasserie at the Abbaye de Neumünster to showcase the musical talents of local composers.

The Grund Club stage is also a platform, for local singer-songwriters to present music that may range in style from rock to pop to jazz, but is all ultimately 'Made in Luxembourg'. For this latest edition, Claudia Losito, professor at the Conservatoire de Musique de la Ville de Luxembourg will feature as a special guest in order to present her original songs to the public.

Pol Dechmann will also be ready and waiting with two new original compositions, whilst Grund Club newcomer Ayesha Akhtar will also be in attendance. Performances will also be provided by singer M'Enzel Lee and guitarist Kid Colling, and all artists will be supported by regulars Gilles Bernard on drums, Tom Heck on bass, Luca Sales on keyboard and Sven Sauber on guitar.

The Songwriters' Show was first developed by Lata Gouveia and the Grund Club non-profit association, which aims to promote, inspire, present and preserve a growing catalogue of songs from Luxembourg and the Greater Region. At each concert, Grund Club artists, accompanied by guest singers and musicians, perform the repertoir of an artist, with the original works then catalogued in the history of Luxembourg music.

The evening will begin at 20:00 on Friday 4 March 2016 at the Brasserie of the Abbaye de Neumünster. Tickets cost 10€ at standard rate, or 1,50€ with a Kulturpass. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.neimenster.lu or contact +352 26 20 52-444.
