On Tuesday 4 April 2017, Luxembourg harpist Dina Nimax will perform at the Abbaye de Neumünster as part of its cycle of “springboard” concerts, starting at 20:00.

The cycle of "springboard" concerts by Neimënster, aiming to put a spotlight on young musical talents, will continue next Tuesday with a harp recital by Dina Nimax.

Dina Nimax has just joined the prestigious Royal Academy of Music of London in the class of Charlotte Seale. She began to learn how to play the harp at the age of five at the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg and has since taken part in several masterclasses, in the United States with Susan Knapp and in England with Imogen Barford.

At the Abbey, she will explore the repertoire for harp, from the music of Gabriel Pierné to Deborah Henson-Conant, to Sophia Giustina Dussek, one of the few female composers of the early 19th century, and Claude Debussy's famous Girl with the Flaxen Hair.

Tickets cost €10, reduced (<26 years) €8, Kulturpass €1.50.
