On 7 April 2017, Luxembourg rock band My Own Ghost release their new album “Life on Standby”.

The local band recently released their latest album with Secret entertainment, supported by tour dates in Poland, Slovakia and Czech Republic.

My Own Ghost, founded in 2013, is characterised by lead singer Julie's warm and powerful voice as well as the musicians' different backgrounds, ranging from pop to metal, by adding some electronic tweaks. Within 9 months, the band hit the stages of Luxembourg and played some shows in the UK.

After shooting a promo clip of their single Crystal Ball, My Own Ghost released their debut album ‘Love Kills’ in September 2014. In August, My Own Ghost signed a deal with Secret Entertainment from Finland who took charge of the distribution and promotion of the album.

In the meantime, the rock band recorded its second album, produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa and mastered by Svante Forsbäck.

In 2017, My Own Ghost started their year with concerts in Germany and Belgium, followed by four dates in the UK. In March. they supported Tarja Turunen on her Shadow Shows in the UK, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany and Switzerland, before the release party of their latest album at Kulturfabrik in Luxembourg on 7 April.

September will see My Own Ghost support German metal band Serious Black on their Magic World Tour leading them to Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, UK, France, Spain and Italy.
