Gast Waltzing will conduct the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra (OPL) for two special concerts on 24 May and 21 June 2017.
For the first concert on 24 May, the OPL will perform together with master bassist and composer Avishai Cohen and his Trio, featuring pianist Omri Mor and percussionist Itamar Doari. The programme includes Cohen’s arrangements for his Trio augmented by a full concert orchestra. The concert will begin at 20:00 at the Philharmonie’s Grand Auditorium.
Tickets cost between €25 and €45 or €15-€27 for under 27s.
On the 21 June, on the occasion of the 'Fête de la Musique’, Gast Waltzing and the OPL will return to Place Guillaume in Luxembourg for the traditional appointment for the Music Day concert, this year featuring singer China Moses.
