The public performances of Così Fan Tutte at Neumünster Abbey on 16, 18 and 20 June will mark one of the most important opera projects Neimënster has carried out.

The six young talents, who are currently in artistic residence at the Abbey of Neumünster, together with five musicians — string quartet and piano — will present a lighter version of Mozart’s famous “risqué” opera.

On stage, the singers are Laura Baudelet as Fiordiligi, Anne-Lise Polchlopeck as Dorabella, Marie Soubestre as Despina, Ignazio Plaza Gonzalez  as Ferrando, Sebastian Delgado as Guglielmo, and Christophe Bornet as Don Alfonso

The musicians are Philip Richardson on piano, Marie-Ange Roy and Gavriil Lecuit on violin, Miguel Jiménez-Barranco on alto, and Beatriz Jiménez-Barranco on cello.

The costumes were loaned to Neimënster by the National Opera of Lorraine Nancy.

Half an hour before each performance Stéphane Gilbart will give a presentation on the opera.

The performance is in Italian, with French subtitles, at 20:00 on 16 June, at 15:00 on 18 June and 20:00 on 20 June, at the Robert Krieps Hall.

Tickets are €20, €8 reduced and €1.50 with a Kulturpass. To buy tickets, see: www.neimenster.lu, or call: 26 20 52-444
