The Luxembourg City Tourist Office has announced that the next lunchtime concerts will be on Friday 19 and Friday 26 February 2016 at 12:30 in the Protestant church on 5 rue de la Congregation Luxembourg.

On Friday 19 the concert will highlight the church’s newly renovated organ. Before the music begins organ restorer Wolfgang Oberlinger will give a guided tour as well as a brief introduction, history and an overview of the Stumm organ’s special features. Also partaking in the concert as organists are Rosch Mirkes and Joachim Fontaine who will be performing select music pieces which best enhance the Stumm organ’s distinctive quality.

On Friday 26 February the Trio Art Nouveau will be performing selected pieces of music on various string instruments in their concert Cordes au cœur (Strings of the heart).
Trio Art Nouveau is a musical group composed of Catherine Beynon on harp, Fabian Perdichizzi on violin and Ilia Laporev on cello.

Joseph Haydn (1732-1809) Trio for violin, cello and harp
Allegro
Andante
Finale: Allegro moderato

Johan Halvorsen (1864-1935) Passaglia for violin and cello
Henriette Renié (1875-1956) Trio for violin, cello and harp
Allegro risoluto
Scherzo
Andante
Finale: Allegro

Entry is free of charge.
