On Saturday 1 October 2016 at 20:00, the Orchestre de Chambre du Luxembourg (OCL) will open this season’s Music@Danza in the Kinneksbond Cultural Centre in Mamer.

The opening performances will include four concerts entitled Music@, the first concert of which has the theme “dance”. During the evening of 1 October, the orchestra will take the audience on a journey through the world of ballet music, interpreting classics from the period of musical romanticism such as those of Mozart and Roussel. Saturday’s concert will also involve the young conductor Kiril Stankow, who has gained renown from being a finalist in the prestigious International Conducting Competition in 2013.

Other musicians involved in OCL’s upcoming season include the MDR Symphony Orchestra and the National Orchestra of Lorraine, among others.
