The Choeur de Chambre de Luxembourg Christmas Concert has been organised for 4 December 2016 at 17:00 in the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg.

The choir will perform one of the most impressive works in sacred music, Haydn’s Nelson Mass, along with Haydn’s Sinfonie 9104 (“London”).

Performing with the choir at the concert will be four soloists, an ensemble from the Musique Militaire Grand-ducale and the orchestra ‘Résonances’ Sarre-Lorraine’s Elizabeth Wiles (soprano), Manou Walesch (mezzo), Thorsten Buttner (tenor) and Milcho Borovinov (bass).

During the concert, the choir will also officially launch its new CD Mozart’s Great Mass.

The concert starts the Choeur de Chambre de Luxembourg’s third season. The ensemble united singers from 19 nations; its aim is to present the classical repertoire of choral music from the Renaissance to the present day.
