The Luxembourg City Tourist Office has announced two Concerts de Midi to take place on 9 and 16 December 2016 in Grund and the Eglise Protestante respectively.

The next Concert de Midi, organised for 9 December, will feature a vocalist and guitarist duo performing Spanish- and Sephardic-themed melodies and traditional Hellenic songs. This event will take place in the COPA Op der Rhum in Grund, starting at 12:30. The final concert of the year, organised for 16 December in the city centre’s Eglise Protestante, will feature the Joint Venture Percussion Duo.

The upcoming Concerts de Midi are part of a series of lunchtime musical breaks organised all over the capital by the Luxembourg City Tourist Office in collaboration with the Ville de Luxembourg and the Ministry of Culture, as well as the Eglise Protestante, the Eglise Saint-Matthieu, the Conservatoire de la Ville, Neimenster, and the CIPA Op der Rhum. The series is a pleasant lunchtime alternative for music amateurs who wish to escape time during their lunch break.

The programme will recommence in January starting with a chamber music recital on Friday 13 January 2017 in the Eglise Protestante, from 12:30.

As always, entry to the concerts is free of charge.
