The Chœur de Chambre de Luxembourg will perform its next concert, conducted by Antonio Grosu, on Sunday 4 December 2016 at 17:00 in the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg.

The choir will perform Haydn’s Nelson Mass, one of the most impressive works in the history of sacred music; in addition to this, the audience will hear Haydn’s famous Sinfonie 9104("London“). Four excellent soloist will sing with the choir, an ensemble from the Musique Militaire Grand-ducale and the orchestra ‘Résonances’ Sarre-Lorraine: Elizabeth Wiles (soprano), Manou Walesch (mezzo), Thorsten Büttner (tenor) and Milcho Borovinov (bass)

In the frame of the concert, the choir also will officially launch its new CD (Mozart’s Great Mass).

With this concert, the Chœur de Chambre de Luxembourg starts its third season. The ensemble unites singers from 19 nations; its aim is to present the classical repertoire of choral music from the Renaissance to the presence in all its brilliance and on a high musical level for the Luxembourgish public – with great success, as resonance to the first concerts demonstrates.
