Adrienne Haan will debut her new show "Between Fire & Ice - A Diabolical Weimar Berlin Cabaret" at 54 Below in New York City (254 West 54th Street) on Wednesday 22 February 2017 at 19:00.
International chanteuse, Adrienne Hann, a Luxembourg and German citizen who resides in New York City, will perform "Between Fire & Ice - A Diabolical Weimar Berlin Cabaret" which depicts Berlin during the 1920s. A time of change, challenge, experiements and when traditions went down the drain. With the first World War lost and the Kaiser in exile, Germany began to experiement with a new form of government: th eWeimar Republic was born and with it a nation looking for latitude.
Under the musical direction of pianist Richard Danley, Adrienne Haan re-lives this bodacious period, probing the ties between feminist struggle and female glamour, taking you on an enchanting musical voyage through history.
The event is being promoted by the Consulate General of Luxembourg in New York.
