The Ville de Luxemourg has announced that the annual "Concert am Bambësch" family concert is being held on Sunday 2 July from 11:00 to 15:30 in the "Réidränk" area of the Bambësch forest.

As part of the "In Dag an der Natur" campaign, the Natural Heritage Service and the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg are organising the "Concert am Bambësch", a family concert to be held on Sunday 2 July 2017 in 11 am to 3:30 pm at the Bambësch, with the Junior Concert Orchestra and student ensembles of the Conservatoire performing.

On the programme: concert-aperitif with junior orchestra (11:00 - 12:00, conducted by Jean Thill), Marching Band (12:15 - 12h:0 and 13:45 - 14:00, conducted by Paul Mootz and Netty Glesener), digital percussion ensemble 12:30 - 13:45, conducted by Emmanuel Baudry), saxophone ensemble (14:00 - 15:30, conducted by Anaïs Lorentz) and "Brass am Bësch" with a set of trumpets (conducted by Roman Zaremba) ), Luxembourg Brass Quintett and a set of tubas (conducted by Patrick Krysatis).

The Municipal Harmony from Rollingergrund will also organise a refreshment bar. In addition, creative workshops, a participatory quiz and donkey rides for children are planned during the day.

Participation in the "Concert am Bambësch" is free and prior registration is not required. Clothing and shoes suitable for all weather conditions are recommended. The path is not suitable for people traveling in wheelchairs. Access is via the "Biergerkräiz" and "Bridel roundabout" car parks and the national road between the Bambësch car park and the Biergerkräiz car park. Access is also possible by public transport: bus line 21 (stop Peiffeschbierg) and line 275 (stop Biergerkräiz, Bridel).
